Job DescriptionPrinciple Activities and Duties:* Demonstrates sound decision-making skills as it relates to balancing risk, profitability and customer service with every decision.* Coaches and trains each team member on telephone interactions, daily work and adherence to department guidelines.* Assumes a leadership role in developing the team.* In the absence of the Vice President and Assistant Vice President, demonstrates the ability to maintain a high level of service.* Addresses employee performance issues.* Reviews daily work to ensure completeness and accuracy.* Balances Pulse and Fiserv daily settlement.* Writes performance evaluations and process guides.* Answers the account security telephone lines for lost/stolen cards, checks, PINS and secures the accounts when needed* Opens new credit cards for retail and corporate customers.* Supports department general ledger input and balancing.

This includes resolving outstanding outages.* Maintains an awareness of new operational policies/procedures and compliance of REG E and REG Z and utilizes this knowledge in the day-to-day operations of the department.Qualifications:* High school Diploma or GED required.

College degree preferred.* Minimum one year of supervisory or leadership experience is required.* Minimum 3 years customer service experience required.* Knowledge of Credit Card, Checking and Savings products and services a plus.* Must have excellent communication skills, both written and oral.* Must have the ability to motivate staff and create a team-like, enthusiastic atmosphere resulting in proactive behaviors among the staff.* Good organizational skills, attention to detail and problem solving skills a must.* Must have a willingness to learn all bank products/services/fees.* Must have a willingness to learn ATM balancing and researching and resolving any issues that arise in the course of a day.
