Customer Service Representative and Dispatch Openings!

OfficeTeam is currently searching for an articulate, entry-level Customer Service and Dispatch representative. Expect this role to exist within a dynamic and fast-paced working environment. This Customer Service Representative job is a contract-to-hire opportunity with an overnight shift from 11pm to 7am.

This role will involve:

-Handling incoming alarm signals and taking appropriate action

-Appropriate action may involve the dispatch of police, fire, and medical services.

-This role requires phone work as well as taking verbal instructions, typing, reading, speaking, and writing.

-Logging of all alarm activity in the system

-Printing and mailing of reports

-Work with installation and service technicians

-Occasional shift changes (7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm), as this facility is a 24/7 operation

Skills Needed

• Ability to exercise a high degree of good judgment and independence while evaluating emergency and non-emergency situations and the ability to make rapid decisions.

• Ability to multi-task, gather and disseminate information clearly, accurately, and rapidly in urgent situations.

• Ability to remain calm under stressful conditions and work in a team environment.

• Attention to detail and accuracy is required.

• Must be customer-focused and Internet literate.

Job Requirements:

– Strong customer service and office administrative skills

– Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with internal and external partners and clients/customers

– Excellent problem solving skills in Microsoft Office applications

– 2+ years’ experience with performing in a goal-driven & customer-focused environment preferred

– Excellent verbal, written, and social skills

– Active problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity

– Customer service experience preferred

– Call Center Customer Service experience is a plus

– Supportive, positive attitude with a professional demeanor applied to all tasks

– Proficient with diversified computer software and systems
