Description UPMC is hiring a Home Health Aide to support the east suburbs of Pittsburgh!This is a Full Time position working Monday-Friday Daylight hours. Responsibilities:Focuses on customer service and continually strives to perform the duties of their job in a manner that will result in optimal patient satisfaction.Proven ability to facilitate change.Provide safe and direct personal care to patients in the home setting under direct supervision of appropriate professional.Attends compliance training and adheres to the organization standards of conduct, policies and procedures.Communicate appropriately with the interdisciplinary home care team in a timely manner, reporting any changes in patient’s condition to appropriate professional staff.Participate in all required agency meetings.Identifies, develops and participates in process improvement opportunities within the home health agency that will enhance the quality of services we provide.Performs duties and job responsibilities in a fashion which coincides with the service management philosophy of the organization towards patients, visitors, staff, peers, physicians and other departments within the organization.Maintains and completes documentation accurately and promptly while in the patients home and within the agency and regulatory standards.Qualifications High School Diploma or GED – RequiredMust have successfully completed a training and competency evaluation program as specified in 484.80 (Home Health) and/or 418.76 (Hospice) as applicable: Condition of participation: Home Health aide services.One (1) year experience – Preferred; Active employment within the past 24 months as a Certified Nurse Aide in good standing.Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hireAutomotive Insurance Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Driver’s License Act 33 Act 34 OAPSA UPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/VeteranTotal Rewards More than just competitive pay and benefits, UPMC’s Total Rewards package cares for you in all areas of life because we believe that you’re at your best when receiving the support you need: professional, personal, financial, and more.Our Values At UPMC, we’re driven by shared values that guide our work and keep us accountable to one another.
