Medical Director Summary:

A well-established veterinary hospital located in Pittsburgh, PA is looking to add an experienced and dedicated Medical Director to their growing team. This privately owned small animal hospital is truly state-of-the-art offering their veterinarians access to modern and progressive technology and practices. Medical Director Responsibilities:

  • The Medical Director will manage the hospital and ensure the highest quality of veterinary care, exceptional client service, associate engagement, and maximum productivity of the veterinary medical team.
  • The Medical Director will advocate for pets and their quality of life; building a long-term bonding relationship with clients; contributing to the development and maintenance of the human-pet bond; educating clients and hospital associates on all aspects of pet health.
  • The Medical Director partners with the Practice Manager to operate an effective and productive veterinary medical team, ensure a safe and engaging hospital environment, and improve both the medical quality and business performance of the hospital.

Medical Director Requirments:

  • The ideal candidate should have several years of experience managing or leading a team of Veterinarians.
  • Pennsylvania Veterinary License.
