Sr Specialist, Email Marketing


This is a Full-time position in Pittsburgh, PA posted February 20, 2021.

nnThe Sr Specialist, Email Marketing is responsible for strengthening customer relationships with GNC primarily through the optimization of email marketing.

The Sr.

Specialist, Email Marketing will work closely with the Sr.

Manager, Customer Experience as well as the Analytics and CRM teams to ensure the CRM strategy is executed as intended.

The associate will also collaborate with and manage other stakeholders in the marketing process including planning, creative, merchandising and the loyalty team.

The role will be responsible for staging and Quality Assurance of assigned marketing channels as well as reporting on their performance.

This position is responsible for the integrity of these channels of communication ensuring retention, reach and conversion and list growth through optimization of content, frequency, relevance and functionality.

At times, this person will be expected to support other requirements using knowledge of best practice to innovate for the benefit of other channels.nn nnJOB RESPONSIBILITIES:nn nnEnsure marketing strategies drive towards maximum efficiency, integrity and automation as part of the strategynn nnCollaborate with marketing planning, creative, merchandising and e-commerce to ensure all stakeholders are represented in the email marketing calendarnn nnBuild and execute email marketing campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, which would include basic AMPscript codingnn nnOwn success metrics including email reach, retention, on-time and accurate execution and work with partner to ensure that SLAs are metnn nnAnalyze campaign performance and provide status reports to the businessnn nnIdentify and problem solve new technical needs as they arisenn nnDevelop a good understanding of GNC needs and customer response to channels and work with insights teams to meet customers expectations of all assigned channels including how these hands off to other touchpoints, including stores nn nnProvide recommendations to improve customer responsenn nnClosely monitor channel innovations and communicate and react appropriatelynn nnAdditional duties as assignednn nnSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: nn nnThis job has no supervisory responsibilitiesnn nnPHYSICAL ASPECTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT: nn nnRegularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands or fingers to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hearnn nnRegularly/Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 poundsnn nnThe noise level in the work environment is usually low/moderatenn nnReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform the essential functions.nn nnQUALIFICATIONS: nn nnBachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job requirednn nn5+ years progressive Marketing experience preferrednn nnPreference given to any person with Salesforce or related Omni-channel marketing automation experiencenn nnHigh degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applicationsnn nnStrong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills nn nnStrong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)nn nnSolid understanding and application of mathematical conceptsnn nnAbility to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clientsnn nnAbility to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.nn nnSelf-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reportingnn nnGNC Holdings, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employernn
