This is a Full-time position in Pittsburgh, PA posted March 25, 2021.

The Business Analyst will be a client-focused experience demonstrating the ability of translating client needs into the development of new or modifications of current software products and services. If you possess strong interpersonal skills and are detail oriented, you could be a great asset to the position of Business Analyst, which requires working closely with clients through the implementation process. RESPONSIBILITIES Demonstrates deep and broad product knowledge Writes and maintains the revision history of the detailed functional specifications for each feature set throughout the development cycle, using input from business stakeholders, partner organizations, the software development team, and Quality Assurance team Identifies the functional definitions of the system, complete with workflow impacts to existing applications and navigation Designs user interface mockups, visual models, charts, flow diagrams and other specification components Conducts analytical review meetings as required with business stakeholders and domain experts to acquire the details to write functional specifications Facilitates the clarification of functional specification issues as they arise during the development process Ensures accuracy, completeness, and clarity of functional specifications Presents functional specifications to internal stakeholders Works on multiple specifications andor specifications for complex features In cases where business requirements or scope documents are not provided, gathers business requirements from the appropriate sources Follows the standard development process to make the best use of limited resources (time, money, people) resulting in a stable, maintainable product that meets user requirements Accomplishes all of the above in accordance with standard procedures REQUIREMENTS Bachelorrsquos Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent work experience Strong analytical skills strong attention to detail Excellent project management and time management skills Strong ability to build consensus ability to influence others Experience with all aspects of the System Development Lifecycle knowledge of successful software development methodologies and best practices Ability to solve problems across domains (business, functional, technical, and operational) Demonstrated ability to create and maintain large sets of documentation a high level of proficiency with Microsoft Word or other documentation tools knowledge of HTML and HTML editing tools a plus Ability to handle change and ambiguity Effective in a fast paced environment Collaborativeenjoys working in teams Self startermotivator Ability to multi-task The company is an equal opportunity employer and will consider all applications without regards to race, sex, age, color, religion, national origin, veteran status, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information or any characteristic protected by law.
