nn Peak Technical Consulting is seeking an ambitious Embedded Engineer to join our client”s close knit, innovative team.
This company provides fully-replicated, dedicated-training versions of radiation and gas detection meters.
These simulators create a realistic hands-on training environment without exposure to live sources.
The successful candidate will work within a small team to design, develop, and maintain the electrical, embedded code, and documentation for our client”s line of simulation products.
nn nn n Essential Functions n Be able to prototype a PCB from a concept including: n Part Selection n Schematics n Spice Simulations n PCB Layouts n Understand and write in C/C++ code for microcontrollers or RTOS systems n Create documentation outlining how pieces of an entire system mesh together n Planning and reporting on current project outlooks n Ability to troubleshoot other designs nn n n Job Requirements: n nn Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities n Fluent in programming C/C++ n Proficient knowledge of Object Oriented programming n Knowledge of FPGAs languages (VHDL or Verilog) n Proficient in DC analysis of schematics including semiconductors n Experience in PCB design and troubleshooting n Able to read and utilize datasheets and operation manuals n Ability to write concise documentation including project requirements, reports, and diagrams n Competent knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office Suite n n Working Conditions / Physical Requirements n Maintaining a professional appearance and can-do positive attitude that is reflective of our business culture n Able to work in an intimate, typically active, and open work environment n May be required to sit for extended periods of time n The employee may occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds nn nnby Jobblenn
