Qualifications High school or equivalent (Preferred) Manufacturing: 5 years (Preferred) Full Job Description This position is responsible for the inspection and verification of tight tolerance machined parts and components, first article inspection approval, identification of unacceptable or non-conforming parts and materials.

Job Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of experience inspecting precision machined parts Experienced with ISO standards, policies, and procedures Basic knowledge of casting and forging manufacturing processes, and the ability to conduct incoming inspections Must be familiar with turning and milling operations as they relate to production of acceptable dimensional and surface characteristics Experienced working with tight tolerances Strong mathematical and trigonometric comprehension
– Knowledge and experience working in a machining and manufacturing environment Advanced blueprint reading and interpretation with knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T) Ability to use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, dial indicators, and gage blocks
– Inspection equipment such as optical comparator, sine plates, profilometer, and hardness tester Complete First Article Inspection for parts Able to set up and operate CMM in manual mode is a plus Ensure all quality-measuring devices are calibrated regularly per company’s internal procedures and calibration records maintained Issue the final inspection report and/or sign off for each job completed in the shop Communicate all quality issues to management in a timely manner, along with recommendations for any corrective actions that may be necessary Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications Other duties as assigned Education: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Associates Degree (or higher) in a related technical field preferred Schedule: Monday to Friday Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: Manufacturing: 5 years (Preferred) Nesco Resource and affiliates (Lehigh G.I.T Inc, and Callos Resource, LLC) is an equal employment opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, age, or veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristics with respect to employment opportunities.
