Licensed Title Agent

Responsibilities:

• This position needs a responsible and experienced title agent who is also knowledgeable in all aspects of title.
• This person will review searches when they come in, issue commitments and CPL’s.
• Search parties for bankruptcies, child support and Patriot Act.
• Prepare deeds, subordination and satisfaction pieces if necessary.
• This person is confidential in their work and decisions.

Requirements:

• Must have great customer service attitude and be able to work and deal with last minute closing and conflicts with solutions.
• This candidate must be licensed in PA and willing to learn New Jersey. Being familiar with Soft Pro is a plus.
• Must be up to date on all TRID regulations and forms.

Job Requirements:

• Contact all potential clients within 24 hours of first notification from Intake Department
• Assisting with real estate closings (90%)
• Compile statistical reports and keep daily log on closing activities

• Complete all assigned statements within seven days
• Posting of manual checks cut at closing
• Obtain approval of CD by lender and broker, if applicable o Email Settlement Statement
• Process and close real estate files
• Ensure that all requirements are met before closing
• Processing 15+ closing
• Expanding and is looking for a senior commercial title processor or title attorney
• Receive fully executed files in a timely fashion from closing agents
• Open additional offices in the future
• Searching for an energetic, customer service driven title professional that will work well with existing team, help mentor junior staff members and focus on delivering top notch service
• Facilitate review, correction if needed, and delivery of completed packages
• Calculate and prepare mortgage payoffs
• Work with processing team to prepare files for closing, prepare settlement statements and conduct closings
• Complete calculations by prorating taxes and interest
