POSITION SNAPSHOTn Title: Sales Associate Department: Group Benefits Location: Pittsburgh, PA Responsibilities: initiate sales process for group benefits sales team, schedule new business sales appointments, proactively source, develop, and maintain target prospect list Compensation: up to $50,000 first year salary + quarterly bonuses & commission opportunities, comprehensive benefits, sizable time-off allotment, 4% 401(k) company matchn POSITION DETAILSn Expect your typical day as a Sales Associate in our Group Benefits department to be focused on the following initiatives:n Sales appointments: schedule new business appointments for Group Benefits sales team through a multi-touch prospecting effort.

Track & maintain all activity in internal CRM Lead generation: develop a proactive strategy to source leads, identifying target and decision-makers.

Drive attendance to Henderson Brothers seminars & events.

Collaborate with internal resources to develop & follow-up on marketing campaigns.

Create & maintain target prospect list by various criteria (market segment, buyer-persona, etc.).

Networking : Develop a personal network of contacts for the long-term sourcing of prospects through professional referrals.

Continuing education: attend industry events, seminars, and informational workshops to learn about changes in the employee benefits market and understand the new products and services provided; complete technical training to develop a thorough knowledge of Henderson Brothers solutions, differentiators, and value proposition.n We are interested in speaking with optimistic and self-motivated individuals, searching for a dynamic career path in a professional setting.n Bachelor’s Degree preferred 2+ years of sales experience required, preferably in a B2B, complex decision-making environment Pennsylvania Life, Accident & Health License preferred Base knowledge of employer sponsored health and welfare plans preferred Exposure to Salesforce.com or another CRM system preferred Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
