Sales Leader – IT

This is a Full-time position in Pittsburgh, PA posted March 10, 2021.

nnCreate and maintain relationships with internal and external customers in a professional and courteous manner.

Solicit profitable relations within many industries for traditional IT consulting.

Supervise sales staff while determining and implementing method(s) to build upon Abator’s existing client base to increase the sale.nn nn n nn nn Duties and Responsibilities: nn Work with VP/CFO and CEO to create departmental/group goals and objectives.

Work with VP/CFO to identify future sales staff members.

Collect and report on sales results at weekly staff meetings.

Train new sales representatives and support personnel in departmental operating procedures.

Participate in the development of advertising and web site content directed toward Abator’s customers.

Advise and mentor sales group members.

Develop programs to encourage referrals from technical resources, including from reference check processes.

Attend weekly staff meetings.

Assist in development of sales materials, advertising and promotion efforts and trade shows.

Complete supplier diversity forms as required.

Attend WBE and OSDBU opportunity meetings.

Review appropriate business publications and IT industry trades to plan future sales/marketing efforts.

Develop clients from cold calls and leads; seek new customer contacts.

Enter requirements in Abator’s enterprise system.

Prepare or assist in preparation of submission packages for requirements.

Visit existing and potential client sites to further relationship building.

Negotiate rates and client contracts Respond to client requests for proposals/quotes as needed.

Review and respond to federal requests for service.

Debrief with clients on unsuccessful submissions (to add to knowledge base of/on client) Assist in development of future marketing support tools, including upgrades to the automated systems and handout materials.

Answer phones as needed.

Provide suggestions on the overall operation of the organization, as part of the team.
