Title Clearance Representative and Mortgage Post Closer

This is a Full-time position in Pittsburgh, PA posted March 29, 2021.

SetPoint Consultants is a national recruitment firm specializing in the Title, Mortgage, Banking, Legal, and Customer Service industries. We have a client in the Pittsburgh (North Shore) area looking to hire several Title Clearance Representatives and Post Closers to support national operations.

Title Clearance Representative:

  • Candidates will review settlement documentation to clear title. This position involves a great deal of phone work and communication with clients, brokers, real estate agents, and other parties involved in a real estate transaction.
  • Candidates must be able to clearly communicate any title issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Candidates will be responsible for the coordination of all aspects involved with clearing title issues and finalizing the loan closing process.
  • Candidates will review title commitment for clearance and assure all items are accounted for including but not limited to updating payoffs, taxes, HOA, and will make sure all funding conditions are met
  • Candidates will confirm closing dates and locations with all parties and will assist in deed preparation.

Title Post Closer-Recorder

Candidates should have prior experience working for a title company or mortgage company as a Post Closer. Responsibilities include recording closed lender packages and scanning packages into the system. Candidates must be able to multi-task, handle large volumes of files, and have high attention to detail. Good typing/data entry skills are a must and candidates must have experience following up on recordings and preparing recording reports for management.

Job Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years experience working in the mortgage, title, or real estate industry.
  • Working knowledge of title closing process and deed preparation.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Great computer skills are required.
