Corporate Credit Director

Creative Financial Staffing

This is a Full-time position in Pittsburgh, PA posted March 10, 2021.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Credit review and analysis of new and existing accounts. Includes obtaining and managing credit information resources and customer financial statement analysis.
  • Establishing and communicating appropriate lines of credit for each customer.
  • Effective communication skills with customers, sales and within the organization.
  • Maintaining Customer account balances within appropriate credit risk levels while utilizing operating system to accommodate timely flow of orders to the operations and warehouse groups.
  • Timely review and adjustment of customer lines of credit to maximize profitable sales while maintaining targeted cash flow parameters at the appropriate risk level.
  • Initiate and maintain customer collection activities to effectively manage credit risk and order workflow. Includes the ability to communicate with customers in possible high conflict situations
  • Efficiently managing day-to-day tasks and multiple priorities while achieving company’s strategic goals.
  • Co-ordinate delinquent customer collection activity with attorney and/or third party agencies.
  • Completes assigned administrative reports & duties.
  • Develop and oversee financing strategies.
  • Negotiate and manage bank facilities and leasing arrangements
  • Assist Accounting Department with general accounting and monthly closing

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from an accredited college
  • Finance or Accounting degree desirable.
  • Minimum 8 years of Commercial Credit management experience.
  • Understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis required.
  • Strong communication and negotiating skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational acumen
  • Experience in using Word, Excel, Outlook and credit management software
